Why Repair Your Clubs
We understand how precious your golf clubs are, but we also know that accidents happen…. encounters with trees, run over by a buggy or chucked in anger. A snapped shaft or warn out grip doesn’t always mean it’s time for a new club.
Our club repairs are carried out to the highest quality by one of our club builders here at the shop. We have all the club repair facilitates and stock you would expect in store meaning we can carry out any repairs or alterations quickly and efficiently.
Reshafting
Broken or snapped Shaft(s)? (Accident or on purpose?) Replacing old shafts? Performance upgrades?
We can supply and fit shafts from all the main manufactures including True Temper, Fujikira, UST, Mamiya, Mitsubushi, Precision, Nippon and Aldila to name just a few. We can simply perform a straight replacement or perhaps recommend a new improved type of shaft that could lengthen your drivers.
We don’t charge you to reshaft a club you just pay the cost of the shaft for this service.
Regripping
From a single club needing a new grip to full set; we can re grip your clubs with all the newest grips on the market (Golf Pride, Lamkin etc) for the best price around. Grips start from £4 and we stock a wide variety so get in contact with the shop direct for more information. Our fitting service is available in store and wherever possible we’ll do it while you wait.
If you play 3 or 4 times a month, we recommend you have your clubs re-gripped each year.
Loft and Lie Check / Adjustments
Feel like you clubs aren’t performing for you? Or have you bought a set of clubs without being fitted? Or just want to check that your clubs are correctly adjusted?
The importance of the loft/lie angle of an iron is paramount. Stop by and let us check your irons are correct for you swing.
This service is free of charge. If any amendments are needed we would normally charge £25 to adjust a set of irons (6/7) clubs. Sometimes this charge maybe more or less but this all depends on how many clubs and the changes required.
Shafts
We stock a wide variety of driver shafts, wood shafts, iron shafts and wedge shafts in store. If we don’t have what you require we can easily order it in. If you aren’t sure what shaft you need pop in and test some out with the help of one of our team. We can accurately advise you on your swing and set-up to determine the precise shafts for your game.
Grips
We have a wide variety of grips to choose from for drivers, irons or putters. Available in all sizes from men’s standard, midsize and jumbo. Ladies, Junior and putters in every shape and size. All the favourites are in stock, including Golf Pride, Lamkin, Winn, Iomic, Callaway, Ping, Black Widow, Flat Cat, Super Stroke and a good selection of budget grips.

We carry out club repairs as quickly as we can but sometimes if the shop is busy you may need you to leave your club with us so we have the time to carry out your repair to the highest standard.
